Inara arrived at 4:32 am on December 22nd after almost 2 hours of pushing! I gave birth without any pain meds and I was getting quite tired towards the end. Looking back, I will not use pain meds in the next delivery! She was born on the same day as our delivery doctor, Dr. Vance. There were so many births that day (14) that there was no room for us in the Women's Care Unit. We had a very cozy room in Pediatrics. It was secluded and quiet. Inara spent both nights sleeping with me. She was having trouble sleeping on her own. She still likes to snuggle in the mornings.
